Hello

Happy to have you here to know about us!!

We, at the Organic Molecules and Functional Materials Group, are excited about the structural complexities and functional capabilities embraced by organic compounds. Our research spans from the atom level picking of units to have molecules designed on our computers (de novo approach), developing synthetic strategies, optimizations of synthetic routes and practice of organic synthesis.

From drug discovery to development of materials for electronic and optical applications, we apply the concept of  molecular hybridization in the design of customized fragments.

Being located in an academic environment with emphasis on Space Science and Technology, we also contribute quite a bit to the on going as well as futuristic space missions (you may contact group leader for more details).

You are most welcome to read and know more about the group and its activities.

Welcome to our laboratories....explore....

We are now into Space Life Sciences Research as well!

Expanding our domains through active collaborations

Combining our skills and expertise to formulate  and conduct microgravity life science experiments

Learning has become fun than ever before!!!

Hey site visitor,
We are planning for a whole lot of changes in the website. Our research topics and interests and undergoing a paradigm shift. Hope you will find our new web site more interesting, keep a watch for the updates

After a long wait of 5 years, we earned an Indian patent on 'Flapping wing mechanism for a bionic micro aerial vehicle'.

Huge appreciation to our Mrudul, who initiated the work (in 2016) as part of his Masters dissertation and persistently worked towards the realization of its objectives.

Congratulations and all the best Dr. Mrudul for the successful completion of your current post doc project at KTH, Sweden!!!
